Dr. Batista is a Computer Science Assistant Teaching Professor at NC State. His main focus at State is in teaching and coursework development; he’s your every-semester’s instructor for the computer organization course, a section of Intro to Java, and a co-instructor for Intro to Computing Environments. His research interests include CS education (including tooling development), reliable systems, emergent behaviors, and embedded ML applications.
In his free time, Dr. Batista enjoys watching soccer and going to the movies.
